Administration period: Before prescribing, the animal's target weight should be determined. The energy supply (kcal) per kg of target weight is based on the cat's body condition score (BCS) (i.e. 30kcal for a BCS of 3.5 or 4.0 and 35kcal for a BCS of 4.5 or 5.0). If the cat refuses to eat or loses weight too quickly, there is a risk of hepatic lipidosis.
