Royal Canin Hepatic is indicated for: cholangitis, cholestasis, portosystemic shunt, hepatic encephalopathy, liver failure, hepatic copper accumulation.

Contraindications: pregnancy, lactation, growth, hyperlipidemia, hepatic lipidosis (except if associated with hepatic encephalopathy).

Administration period: The duration of treatment varies depending on the pathology. Initially, a treatment period of 6 months is recommended, however, in the case of chronic disease, it may be necessary to administer the food throughout the animal's life. In order to reduce postprandial liver overload, it is recommended to administer several small meals until the recommended daily dosage is reached.
