Cereals with a low glycaemic index (whole wheat and oats) and a high level of fibre promote a gradual release of glucose from the diet to reduce postprandial hyperglycaemia and support patients with diabetes mellitus. Particularly high levels of omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA from fish oil and the omega-6 fatty acid GLA from borage oil. Intake of high levels of omega-3 fatty acids has been shown to regulate blood lipids in cases of hyperlipidaemia, help maintain normal blood pressure and increase insulin sensitivity. These fatty acids can influence the immune response and modify the production of eicosanoids with effects on different metabolic processes in the body. Contains ß-1,3/1,6-glucans from yeast and increased levels of zinc, selenium and omega-3 fatty acids to stimulate the activity of the immune system. Beta-glucans can bind to macrophages and alert the immune system, supporting the immune response and altering cytokine production. A complete and balanced diet with moderate energy density helps maintain an ideal weight. Controlled levels of minerals such as phosphorus and sodium reduce the strain on the kidneys and support kidney function in senior dogs. EPA and DHA are both omega-3 fatty acids that help maintain healthy joints, skin and coat.

Endocrine Support is indicated for diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, nutritional support to maintain healthy blood glucose and lipid levels, normal blood pressure, ideal weight and skin condition, stimulation of the immune response in recurrent infections in dogs with endocrine pathologies such as diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism or hyperadrenocorticism (Cushing's syndrome) and constipation, fiber-responsive colitis. Not recommended for small puppies in a phase of rapid growth and pregnant or lactating bitches.
