The diet has a reduced content of magnesium and phosphorus (components of struvite crystals) to help dissolve and reduce the recurrence of struvite crystals and uroliths. A urine pH below 6.4 dissolves existing struvite crystals and minimizes the risk of new struvite crystals precipitating. High-quality, highly digestible ingredients ensure maximum nutrient absorption while reducing fecal bulk. EPA and DHA are both omega-3 fatty acids that support healthy joints, skin and coat.

Struvite Management is indicated for the dissolution and reduction of recurrence of struvite uroliths in adult dogs. It is not recommended for urolithiasis due to calcium oxalate, ammonium urate or cystine, simultaneous administration of urinary acidifiers, metabolic acidosis, dogs with hyperlipidemia or pancreatitis, puppies and pregnant or lactating bitches.
