Mode of action:

The additional calcium sulfate generates and maintains an acidic pH that favors the dissolution and inhibition of the formation of struvite crystals, creating an environment unfavorable to bacterial proliferation.

The reduced amount of proteins, calcium, phosphorus and magnesium contained in Vet Life Canine Struvite creates an unfavorable framework for the aggregation and precipitation of crystals.

Treatment modality:

It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before using or extending treatment. Serve the product respecting the daily dose indicated in the table.

Recommended period of use: 5 to 12 weeks for the dissolution of struvite stones and up to 6 months to reduce the recurrence of stones. Farmina Vet Life Canine Struvite is a complete dietetic food for dogs formulated for the dissolution and reduction of the recurrence of struvite stones. Rice, dehydrated chicken meat, animal fat, potatoes, oats, dehydrated whole eggs, linseed, hydrolyzed animal proteins, fish oil, potassium chloride, calcium sulfate dihydrate, calcium carbonate, vegetable oil, sodium chloride. Protein sources: dehydrated chicken meat, dehydrated whole eggs. Urine acidifier: calcium sulfate dihydrate (5g/kg).
