Mode of action:

The low concentration of copper limits the effect of toxicity on damaged hepatocytes. The use of raw materials rich in omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, with anti-inflammatory effects, reduces symptoms in the case of acute liver disease.

The presence of starch and hydrolyzed proteins compensates for the lack of digestive efficiency (protein and glucose metabolism) in the case of chronic liver diseases.

Treatment modality:

It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before using or extending the treatment. Serve the product respecting the daily dose indicated in the table. The duration of the diathetic treatment is initially 6 months. Farmina Vet Life Canine Hepatic is a complete food for dogs, indicated to support liver function in cases of chronic liver failure. This food has a moderate concentration of high-quality proteins, a high concentration of fatty acids and digestible carbohydrates. Spelt, animal fat, corn gluten, hydrolysed fish proteins, fish oil, calcium carbonate, linseed, oats, dehydrated beet pulp, potassium chloride, rice starch, fructooligosaccharides (FOS), mannose-based oligosaccharides extracted from Saccharomyces cerevisiae, monodicalcium phosphate, dehydrated brewer's yeast, sodium chloride, marigold extract (source of lutein).
