Mode of action:

Farmina Vet Life Canine Gastrointestinal is an easily digestible food that provides additional soluble fiber and supports the restoration of intestinal microflora and microfauna and the protection of the intestinal mucosa.

This highly digestible diet is also recommended for dogs with decreased pancreatic enzyme function and for dogs suffering from acute (non-hyperlipidemic) pancreatitis after the initial phase when the animal begins to tolerate food and water again.

This highly digestible diet is also recommended to reduce the amount of food required for the maintenance of dogs affected by gastric distension or torsion. In these cases, the dog should be fed a minimum of 6 times a day.

Treatment modality:

It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before using or extending treatment. Serve the product respecting the daily dose indicated in the table.

Recommended period of use: 1 to 2 weeks to reduce acute changes in intestinal absorption; 3 to 12 weeks in cases of compensation for poor digestion, for life in cases of chronic pancreatic insufficiency.
Farmina Vet Life Canine Gastrointestinal is a complete dietary food for dogs to reduce acute alterations in intestinal absorption, to compensate for poor digestion and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.

It is also a food indicated for the convalescence of dogs that have undergone surgical interventions on the digestive organs. Rice, potatoes, dehydrated chicken meat, oats, animal fat, dehydrated whole eggs, dehydrated fish, dehydrated beet pulp, fish oil, hydrolyzed animal proteins, vegetable oil, inulin (0.6%), fructooligosaccharides/FOS (0.4%), mannanoligosaccharides/MOS (0.4%), calcium carbonate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride.
