L-carnitine transports fatty acids into the mitochondria and stimulates fat oxidation and the preservation of muscle mass.

Specific Weight Reduction is indicated for cats with obesity, diabetes mellitus, colitis, chronic diarrhea, constipation, hyperlipidemia and cholestasis. Not recommended for small kittens and pregnant or lactating cats with high energy needs.
