Calibra Vet Diet Gastrointestinal Low Fat is a veterinary dry food formulated specifically for dogs with gastrointestinal problems and intestinal absorption disorders. With a low-fat salmon-based recipe, it is ideal for supporting digestion and compensating for exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. This clinical diet helps promote a healthy digestive system and supports lipid metabolism in cases of hyperlipidaemia.
This specialised formula uses highly digestible rice and salmon protein, including hydrolysed salmon, to ensure excellent food tolerance. The reduced fat content (8%) relieves the pancreas and facilitates digestion, while the inclusion of prebiotics (FOS, MOS, beta-glucans) and probiotics (inactivated Lactobacillus helveticus) promotes the balance of intestinal flora. Furthermore, the recipe is enriched with omega-3 fatty acids from salmon oil and dried algae, which have anti-inflammatory properties, and Mojave yucca extract to help reduce faecal odour.
rice (45 %), salmon protein (20 %), hydrolysed salmon protein (12 %), pea protein, dried apple pulp, salmon oil (3 %), hydrolysed salmon gravy (2 %), eggs (2 %), lignocellulose (1 %), treated yeast culture (1 %), pea flour, fulvic acid (0,5 %), dried algae (0,5 %, Schizochytrium limacinum), fructo-oligosaccharides (220 mg/kg), ß-glucans (200 mg/kg), mannan-oligosaccharides (180 mg/kg), Mojave yucca (150 mg/kg), inactivated Lactobacillus helveticus HA – 122 (15x10 9 cells/kg)
