Does your dog show signs of stress when traveling by car? Does your dog pant, tremble, salivate excessively, vomit? Spray ADAPTIL Transport Spray on the carrier or inside the car 15 minutes before placing your dog in it.
How and where to use it?
During car trips or visits to the vet: simply spray the blanket, towel, inside of the carrier and/or car (8-10 sprays each time).
How long should ADAPTIL Transport Spray be used?
If necessary, repeat spraying every 4 or 5 hours during long trips.
How does it work?
A mother dog communicates with her puppies through natural messages that she releases into the air during lactation - pheromones. In the natural environment, adult dogs also release and exchange these messages. These "safety messages" transmit a strong signal of well-being and tranquility to dogs of all ages. ADAPTIL is a copy of the canine appeasement pheromone and helps your dog feel calmer and adapt to stressful situations. ADAPTIL is the No. 1 solution recommended by veterinarians to help your dog's well-being.
How long until I see results?
Immediate results.
Always wait 15 minutes before allowing your dog to come into contact with the sprayed area or objects.
Where NOT to use?
Never spray directly on the dog.
Never spray the carrier if the dog is inside.
Always wait 15 minutes before letting your dog into the carrier, car, or sprayed area.
When NOT to use?
To prevent nausea and vomiting, limit access to food for at least 6 hours before travel. Do not limit access to water.
Do not use ADAPTIL Transport Spray if your dog's problems are not associated with stress during transport.
Do not use ADAPTIL Transport Spray if your dog's problems are due to a lack of environmental stimuli.
If your dog is defecating in the car due to lack of training, or for medical reasons, ADAPTIL Transport Spray will not help your dog. It is important that you visit a veterinarian to rule out possible medical causes.
ADAPTIL will not help and should not be used in cases of aggression towards humans or other dogs. In these situations, consult a veterinarian or animal behavior specialist. ADAPTIL Transport Spray helps your dog feel calm when traveling.
