Hydrolyzed salmon protein with a molecular weight <10,000 Daltons is highly digestible and low in allergenicity. Particularly high levels of the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA from fish oil and the omega-6 fatty acid GLA from borage oil. These fatty acids affect the immune response by altering the production of eicosanoids and promote healthy skin and coat in cats with atopy. High-quality and highly digestible ingredients make this diet particularly suitable for patients with small intestinal diarrhoea. A urine pH below 6.4 supports the health of the urinary tract. This is a complete and balanced diet with the recommended nutrient levels to meet the needs of adult or growing cats. It is therefore also a suitable diet for kittens.

Specific Allergy Management Plus is indicated for cats with allergic dermatitis caused by atopy, food allergy, flea allergy or any combination of these allergies, gastrointestinal disorders caused by food allergy or intolerance, inflammatory bowel disease, colitis, gastrointestinal problems such as diarrhea, vomiting and flatulence caused by malabsorption and maldigestion, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency or acute gastroenteritis, other dermatoses responsive to specific nutrients and fatty acids and other conditions responsive to fatty acids such as colitis, asthma or arthritis. Not recommended for cats with immunodeficiency and cats with coagulation disorders.
