The low calorie content of this food helps prevent weight gain in animals with a tendency to be overweight.

Diluting urine reduces the concentration of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals.

The increase in urinary volume also promotes regular emptying of the bladder.

Urinary undersaturation creates unfavorable conditions for the development of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals.

Royal Canin Urinary S/O Pouch is indicated for: bacterial cystitis, dissolution of struvite uroliths, struvite and calcium oxalate urolithiasis.

Contraindications: pregnancy, lactation, growth, chronic renal failure, pancreatitis, hyperlipidemia, heart disease, treatment with urine acidifiers.

Administration period: 5 to 12 weeks of nutritional therapy are required to achieve dissolution of urinary stones. In case of urinary tract infection, Urinary S/O Sachet should be prescribed, in combination with an antibacterial agent, for an additional month after obtaining a negative bacteriological urine analysis.
