Thanks to its high water content, Urinary S/O Canine wet food increases urinary dilution. Urinary S/O Canine allows effective dissolution of struvite stones.

Increasing urinary volume simultaneously reduces urine saturation with calcium oxalate and struvite. Urinary S/O Canine allows a preventive approach by creating urinary conditions unfavorable to the development of both types of stones.

The synergistic complex of antioxidants (vitamins E and C, taurine, lutein) prevents the degradation of cellular DNA, strengthens the immune system and neutralizes free radicals whose harmful effects increase with ageing.

Royal Canin Urinary S/O is indicated for: bacterial cystitis, dissolution of struvite uroliths, struvite and calcium oxalate urolithiasis.

Contraindications: pregnancy, lactation, growth, chronic renal failure, heart disease, pancreatitis, hyperlipidemia, treatment with urine acidifiers.

Administration period: 5 to 12 weeks of nutritional therapy are required to achieve dissolution of urinary stones. In case of urinary tract infection, Urinary S/O should be prescribed, in combination with an antibacterial agent, for an additional month after obtaining a negative bacteriological urine analysis.
