To dissolve struvite stones and to reduce the recurrence of struvite stones.
Happy Dog VET Struvit is used to dissolve struvite stones and to reduce the recurrence of struvite stones.
This diet stands out particularly for its high-quality proteins, as well as its reduced magnesium and phosphorus content and urine acidifying properties, through which the urine pH is significantly lowered.
Main benefits:
- For the guided dissolution of struvite stones.
- For the prevention of recurrence of struvite stones.
- Urinary tract cleansing
- To lower the pH of urine.
It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before use.
For optimal stone dissolution, this food should be given exclusively. Doses of supplemental foods should be determined with the veterinarian overseeing the treatment.
The transition to a suitable follow-up diet should ideally be made in 10% increments over at least 2 to 4 weeks.
To prevent struvite stones, reduce the recommended daily dose by about 20-25% and replace it with a Happy Dog Adult dry food of your choice. Check urine pH regularly.
Unless otherwise recommended by a veterinarian, several small meals should be offered throughout the day.
The amount of food should be adapted to the individual metabolism of the animal and may need to be moderately reduced or increased during the process. Recommended usage period: 5 to 12 weeks for the dissolution of struvite stones. For the reduction of struvite stone recurrence, initially up to 6 months.
When mixing food with Happy Dog VET Skin Wet food, keep in mind that 100g of wet food is equivalent to 30g of dry food.
